Personal Injury Claims arise where, as the name suggests, a person is injured owing to the negligence of another person or entity.
A personal injury claim is a cause of action that arises from a civil wrong against an individual. Where the defendant is found culpable for the injuries of the victim the defendant must pay compensation to that victim.
Personal injury claims can be brought before a court up to four years after the date of the incident which caused the injury.
The most common types of personal injury claims are road traffic accidents, accidents at the workplace , tripping accidents, assault claims, accidents in the home, product defect accidents and holiday accidents.
